Care advice
Cleaning:
To preserve the brightness of your pieces, it is very important to clean them often. We advise you to do that with a soft and dry cloth.
Storage:
It is recommended to store your jewelries individually in its original box to avoid any damage; contact with other objects may scratch it.
Savoir faire
Creation: The creations of the Antifer collection are composed of several rings (rows). Each ring is created by the jeweler using the technique of lost-wax casting, set and polished individually.
Paving/ Setting: In case of multiple rings, the paving is asymmetric as it does not finish at the same place. The setting involves setting with two or four grains. Each grain must be made in a consistent way, particularly positioned in the same line and with precision so that the light is correctly reflected. Each diamond’s line must be perfect.
Polish: This is an essential step as it is more difficult to polish square shapes than round ones. It cannot deform the shape of the rings with sharp and tight angles.
Assembly: The assembly is created using gold pins that maintain the whole. The position of each ring is decided with a very precise angle to give coherence to the whole. The empty spaces between each ring are studied to ensure the reading of the angles, specific to Antifer collection. From the inside, each ring’s lines are visible creating parallel lines, it is then possible to see each row separately.
